Hikvision announces 2025 annual and 2026 first-quarter results

Hangzhou, China, 27 April 2026 — Hikvision has released its 2025 annual results and first-quarter 2026 results, reporting continued growth and improved operating quality.

For 2025, revenue reached RMB 92.51 billion (approximately USD 12.95 billion), up 0.01% year on year. Net profit was RMB 14.20 billion (approximately USD 1.99 billion), up 18.52%.

Reflecting strong cash flow, the company announced an expected 2025 cash dividend of RMB 10.54 billion (approximately USD 1.48 billion), representing a 74.25% payout ratio.

In the first quarter of 2026, revenue reached RMB 20.72 billion (approximately USD 2.90 billion), up 11.78%. Net profit rose 36.42% to RMB 2.78 billion (approximately USD 0.39 billion).

First-quarter gross margin increased by 4.16 percentage points to 49.09%.

AIoT strategy supports global growth

Building on more than two decades in the industry, Hikvision continues to strengthen its AIoT (Artificial Intelligence of Things) business. The strategy is reflected in steady performance during 2025 and a strong start to 2026.

Overseas core-business revenue reached RMB 27.22 billion (approximately USD 3.81 billion), or 29.42% of total revenue. Emerging markets maintained strong growth.

Non-video products, including access control, alarm systems and commercial displays, grew rapidly and became another contributor to revenue.

Innovation businesses generated RMB 25.45 billion (approximately USD 3.56 billion), representing 27.51% of total revenue.

Developing large-scale AI models

Hikvision is integrating its Guanlan Large-Scale AI Models into products, combining vision, language and multimodal processing.

The integration improves accuracy and efficiency in complex environments. For example, using audio large-scale models in equipment quality inspection can improve defective-component detection rates by 70%.

The company has also deployed industry-specific AI models in intelligent manufacturing, logistics and environmental conservation.

Continued research and development investment

Technological innovation remains central to Hikvision's development. In 2025, it invested RMB 11.75 billion (approximately USD 1.65 billion) in research and development, equivalent to 12.70% of total revenue.

Over the past six years, cumulative R&D investment exceeded USD 8 billion. The company continues to allocate more than 10% of annual revenue to R&D.

By the end of 2025, Hikvision held 12,981 granted patents worldwide, of which 57% were invention patents.
